IMTA, The International Map Trade Association (IMTA) is a pioneering intellectual resource organization which intends to serve and promote the cause of global mapping and cartographic industry. Acting as a stand-alone platform for bringing together the best of mapping minds from all corners of the world, IMTA facilitates useful interaction of individuals and institutions involved in production and sale of mapping products or information.

Objectives of the Association:
Instilling greater awareness and understanding of maps and mapping concepts in the educated masses along with collection and distribution of spatial information industry statistics to achieve the end.
Encouraging members for productive mutual interaction involving exchange of innovative mapping ideas and sharing their rich industry experience.
Gathering and providing mapping and spatial information industry statistics to educate and enhance member and public awareness.
Enhancing practical understanding of mapping applications and at the same time promoting the sales and awareness of cartographic products and services.
Events & Activities:
IMTA is involved in a number of interactive engagements aimed at promotion of mapping industry at large and dissertation of standardized cartographic knowledge.
